Take your place. Part 1

Talitha-KoumThere is something reserved for you as a believer but you’ve got to rise up and take it. You need to know that you are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus far above principalities and powers. You also need to know that there is a spiritual location meant for you and you are to locate yourself in it so as to stop scratching the ground like a chicken. Stop running from pillar to post but take your place which God has ordained for you; soar on wings as eagles. When you are in the centre of God’s will, you will soar and fly high with him going ahead of you to make your way smooth and easy.

If you are in the centre of God’s will then your preservation is guaranteed, just rest in him. When you do what God tells you to do per time and stay where he wants you to be at the right time then your life will be secured in him.

Esther realized that she needed to know God’s mind concerning the situation that threatened her people. Initially she wanted to sit back and relax; she had plans on how she was going to solve the situation, but later decided to find out what God wanted her to do so that she could take her place.

When God sends you on an assignment, he will preserve your life but when you go on your own there is the danger of things becoming difficult for yourest-pic-for-web-site without succour. When he sends you and you obey him then you are in his will. May we not go where God’s presence will not go with us.

You need to remind yourself that you didn’t create yourself, God did. You cannot make any plan that will sustain you nor can you have a vision for your life outside God’s leading, as such you can’t live your life without God. He must take his place in your life and you must give him room to do so.

This week, arise and take your place in destiny!

The Mission; Beauty For Ashes. Part 2

freeimage-9294742-web1What is that talent and gift that God has given you? What’s that seed which fills you with so much joy? This could be your assignment- Your Mission.

It always starts out with a seed that God has planted in your heart. But to actualise it, you need to be stubborn about it and sometimes choose not to listen to what people say. Remember in 2 kings 4:4, Elisha told the widow to shut the windows of her house until she was done pouring the oil. Don’t allow distractions and doubts dissuade you from doing the things that God has called you to do. If God is leading you to do something, step out and don’t be afraid of pursuing it. God puts his approval upon his work; whatever he has told you to do, do it in spite of how you feel. Do your assignment because that is where your healing is; your assignment is hidden in your passion.

Find your passion wherever you are, whatever you are doing and no matter your vocation, see it as a great assignment and go the extra mile. Refuse to be stereotyped. Jesus is saying to you, ‘be free, lose your bounds, don’t wait until you start your mission with pomp and noise, discover what God has called you to do and redefine your destiny.’

Following your passion is a major step to finding fulfilment in life. You might not be celebrated because they may appear as little things, but learn to celebrate yourself.  If you don’t say ‘I am,’ nobody will say ‘thou art.’ Jesus did not say, stay inside the church, he said, ‘go ye into the world.’ Outside of the church is your territory and your market place.

IUTYGod’s grace and power is available in our lives for us to walk in victory. If you are doing anything good, continue to do it. Don’t ignore the very little things you do, don’t see them as being mundane, most times people don’t appreciate the little things because they are not celebrated.
Even if it is just one person you are mentoring, continue to celebrate that person because you do not know what that person would become tomorrow. Billy Graham was the only convert in a city crusade that was termed a failure by the media, but today Billy Graham is one of God’s mighty generals. Esther got beauty for ashes in the palace because she took her rightful place and made an impact such that we can still talk about till today.

So in spite of your pain, say yes to the Lord and be useful in his hand.

Beauty For Ashes Part 1

“To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them ‘Oaks of Righteousness’ planted by God to display his glory. (Isaiah 61:3)

Life throws us different punches that cause physical, mental and emotional pain. Some people in our lives also hurt us so bad that it is difficult to think anything good can come out of us. For all the pain, hurt and disappointment you have ever gone through, God is saying he will heal and restore. thinkingHe is the friend that sticks closer than a brother, all he desire is that you hand it over to him. He says come to me, he wants to repair areas in our lives in which we struggle; he wants us to give it to him because he is the beautifier and he wants to beautify our life during this period.

We need to receive our healing and allow God to deal with the issues so we can be a source of blessing to our world. This is because, if we are not careful our past will be a crutch hindering us from walking into all that God has prepared for us in destiny. Embrace God’s love and let it wash away every pain and from inside of you will arise a passion to help others. Know that God is the reason why things are not worse than they are.

Victorious woman

Victorious woman

Live a life of praise, it is God that wakes you up every morning, when you wake up, let gratitude feel your heart. You are special to God. Forgive and let go so you can shine like a star that you truly are.

Pharaoh’s daughter took care of Moses as though he was her biological child; the same River Nile that was supposed to kill Moses saved him. The same circumstance that is causing you pain, will be used by God to cause your fame to shine abroad. You are not ordinary because God is with you on this journey so don’t be afraid. You will come out victorious; God is exchanging your ashes with beauty right now in Jesus name.

How to live an amazing life

“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be” – Maya Angelou

To live an amazing life, you must be prepared to live a life that does not conform to the norm. Many people grow up with dreams of living a “normal” life which consists of only the members of their nuclear family.

However, when you have the call of God on your life, God comes first and every other thing  will fall into place; although, this does not mean that you should take your marriage and loved ones for granted. If you are tired of living a life of routine, it is time to enter into a season of amazement with God. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. You will be changed from the inside out. Do not settle for the culture around you.(Romans 12:1-2 MSG)

changeWho is an agent? The dictionary definition of an agent is “a person or business authorized to act on another’s behalf”. We are God’s agents on earth. We have been called to act on His behalf, have dominion and bring change to this world. In chemistry, an agent is a substance that causes a reaction. Like yeast, we have the power to bring about change. You only need to add a little to the dough to flavour it and get big results.

Same thing with us, we do not need to be well known or have accomplished greatness before we can bring about change. The Bible is always about little things causing big and massive changes. For example, we only need faith that is the size of a mustard seed to see results. Use what God has given you to bring about change and enlargement.

Identify those God has called you to affect their lives positively. Your life will become amazing when you: 1) respond to God’s call; 2) are courageous; 3) allow God to change your mindset and 4) are creative about it. The woman by the well of Samaria received healing from Jesus and impacted a whole city (John 4:7-30). Esther courageously approached the king and saved a whole Jewish race. Jochebed, Moses’ mother and his sister, Miriam, defied the decree of Pharoah that all Hebrew babies should be killed and preserved his life; thus, raising a change agent who became a deliverer of the nation of Israel.

woman-BibleWhen we think like God thinks, our lives will become amazing. Do not be conformed to this world (2 Corinthians 3:18). As we spend time with God in fellowship and prayer, He changes us from the inside out. Allow God to change your perspective. Commit your family and children into His hands. Identify the people God has called you to support and help them become powerful.

See the potential in people – young and old. Become a co-creator with God. Think solutions. People who are creative live amazing lives. Jesus is the greatest change agent. He came to earth to reconcile us to the Father. His main tool was love and He instructed us to walk in His stead till He comes. So, we need to represent Him properly.

We are His ambassadors. Love cannot be resisted; it should be our main motivation in everything we do.
